I've been back from Europe for almost two weeks now. I am slowly slipping back to my old ways. The first week was tough. I had a hard time eating cafeteria food and drinking hospital coffee after indulging in European fare. Jet lag woke me up at 5am each day for a week and ready to crawl in bed by 8pm (That actually felt good, I've never been a morning person). Now, I am dreading my 6am alarm and forcing myself out of bed.
I have noticed I get into a lull when I come back from a trip, especially from something special like the last one. I like to come home early and enjoy the quiet comforts of home. I haven't taken any photographs lately. The one above I kinda forced myself to shoot because I need it for this photo project. And it is already two days late. It was taken just outside HarMar mall, my first venture out since the trip. I went to Barnes and Noble. I find solace being surrounded by books and just like travel, it widens my world.
